2. Hosting
This website runs on a server provided by Alibaba Cloud in a data centre in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. When you access the website, the hosting provider processes the data listed in section 3 on our behalf. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
3. Server Log Files
Each time the website is accessed, the following information transmitted by your browser is recorded automatically:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file accessed
- referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- browser and operating system used
These data are used solely to ensure trouble-free operation, to defend against attacks and to analyse errors, and are not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest unless their further retention is necessary to investigate a specific security incident.
4. Cookies
This website uses only technically necessary cookies. These include a cookie that stores your chosen language (pll_language, stored for up to one year). For logged-in editors, WordPress also sets login cookies. We do not use any analytics, tracking or marketing cookies.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the conclusion or performance of a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete these data once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Disclosure within the Group and Transfers to Third Countries
EVERBIZ GmbH is part of the EVERBIZ group, which has companies in China and other countries. Where necessary to handle your enquiry or to provide our services, your contact details and the content of your enquiry may be transferred to affiliated companies outside the EU, in particular to EVERBIZ Certification Services (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. There is no adequacy decision by the European Commission for China; such transfers are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
